STONY PLAIN, AB:. Yesterday, 71 people from 27 different countries became Canadian citizens at a ceremony held in Stony Plain.
Municipal Development Plan Update 2024 – Bylaw 2694/D&P/24 Received Second Reading and Approval for Submission to EMRB. With the adoption of the Edmonton Metropolitan Region Board’s (EMRB) Regional Agriculture Master Plan (RAMP), member municipalities, including the Town of Stony Plain, must update their Municipal Development Plan (MDP) by the end of 2024 to incorporate policy direction and guidance on agriculture in the region.
