The Stony Plain Fire Department is investigating a house fire following an early morning blaze. Crews responded to the fire at 5:46AM.

The Town will begin rehabilitation work on Rotary Park bridge starting Monday, April 11. The project will involve concrete pile jacketing and upgrading erosion protection and the bridge will be closed for the duration of the construction project.
TELUS has informed the Town of Stony Plain crews will be in the Oatway Drive area next week for remediation work.
Culture and Tourism Annual Update. Growing Stony Plain’s cultural economy is a key priority for Council.
The Canadian Award for Financial Reporting (CanFR) has been awarded to the Town of Stony Plain by Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for the 2020 Annual Report. The CanFR Program was established to encourage municipal governments throughout Canada to publish high-quality financial reports and to provide peer recognition and technical guidance for officials preparing these reports.
